Five New Media students were looking for a way to create mobile advertising that was compelling, inexpensive, and non-intrusive. Advertisers have not yet fully developed a traditional, widely-accepted model for promoting an idea or product to people on their mobile devices. For many individuals, there is not a more personal platform than their smart phone. Mass text messages can be invasive and irritating, and the traditional banners on Web pages will not show up as well on mobile devices. The students were looking for an interactive and entertaining way to keep people engaged with a product on a mobile device
