The Aquarium is dedicated to promoting coral reef conservation in the South Pacific. Most recently, it partnered with the Nature Conservancy to save one of the most diverse and pristine coral reefs on the planet.

The Aquarium is now the principle sponsor of the Arnavon Community Marine Conservation Area in the Solomon Islands (South Pacific). Aquarium staff grow coral reef in GAI labs using manufactured ocean water.
