Connect. Students, professors, alumni, business professionals...the New Media Institute is working on projects that you might be interested in! Take a look at a show or two and get a feel for what we do here at the NMI.
Share. We put hundreds of hours of work into every project we do, but they aren't worth very much if they never reach outside of the walls of the NMI. If you hear about a project and want to become a part of it, let us know!
Improve. This podcast is as much for Zack and I as it is for you, the viewer. Zack, a telecommunications major with a heavy focus in production, is learning a great deal about editing and producing a high-quality podcast. Kiley, a cognitive science major with an obsession for new media, is expanding his new media persona and exploring new ways of marketing and developing content for this fast-paced online environment. We seek to improve both the New Media Institute brand and our own skills through the creation of this video podcast.

The New Media Interdisciplinary Certificate (NMIC) is a credential certifying the student's understanding of and proficiency in new media. A student earns the NMIC while completing a degree in his or her chosen field of study. The NMIC guarantees that a graduate is expert in the application of technology within a given profession. To qualify for the certificate students must complete seventeen hours with a B or better in designated courses: eleven hours of certificate core courses and six hours of elective courses.
